Meet Urban Alliance.
Seeking to uplift marginalized citizens within Kalamazoo through mentoring and job training, Urban Alliance (UA) believes radical love has the power to transform lives. From adults with addictions and criminal pasts to youth in danger of falling victim to gun violence and destructive decisions, the organization has acted as a beacon of acceptance and empowerment since 1999.


Relationship
Recognizing the need for brand enhancement, Urban Alliance partnered with LKF in late 2019 for strategic planning and ongoing marketing. Keeping the organization’s unique approach to individual, community, and economic development in mind, we developed strategies and a marketing plan to broaden target audiences and refine the organization’s narrative.
Always communicating empowerment and positivity, our ongoing partnership includes annual planning, website maintenance, communication strategies, content marketing, collateral materials, annual reports, event planning, fundraising, public relations, and other tactics to drive awareness and engagement.

Fund Development Campaigns & Materials
Through cohesive strategy, creative storytelling, and hands-on execution, LKF supports Urban Alliance’s fund development efforts in a variety of ways. From year-end giving campaigns and gala planning to annual reports and donor communications, we help inspire generosity, strengthen relationships, and amplify the organization’s mission-driven impact.



Website Development & Maintenance
In order to draw community members together and highlight its mission and outreach, we redesigned and maintain Urban Alliance’s website. Serving as a digital welcome mat, the site shares the organzation’s mission, impact, and community resources with refreshed content, design, and functionality to support the organization’s ongoing growth and outreach.
Program Materials & Promotion
Designing dynamic, on-brand materials that bring Urban Alliance’s programs and events to the forefront is crucial. From shirts and yard signs to flyers, posters, and pull-up banners, LKF ensures every piece reflects the organization’s mission and visual identity and can be quickly updated for recurring use to help Urban Alliance maintain efficiency, visibility, consistency, and strong community recognition.



Building Signage & Wall Graphics
Inside and out, Urban Alliance’s building serves as a welcoming, recognizable beacon of hope in the Kalamazoo community. Passersby no longer wonder what goes on in the space thanks to branded signage. Inside, large interior wall graphics featuring inspiring quotes and values to reinforce trust, safety, and belonging for those within, while wayfinding signage and codes of conduct provide clarity.




Public Relations & Content Marketing
Serving as Urban Alliance’s content and communications partner, we manage everything from public relations and social media strategy and design to e-newsletters, brochures, and digital storytelling. Through consistent messaging, visual cohesion, and mission-driven content, we help Urban Alliance stay connected with supporters, amplify its impact, and authentically share stories of transformation.
